
The executive management ofNational Development Agency has been working within its strategic visions to invest and develop the projects of the agricultural departments in Sirte, as well as other similar agricultural departments in the southern regions of Libya, in order to exploit them and take advantage of their vast areas and prepare them for programs to cultivate wheat, barley and other grains and crops that are expected to benefit from the products of the local parallel market.
These projects, to which the General Command has harnessed a lot of potential, support and configuration through National Development Agency, after more than a decade and a half of stoppage. They have been utilized since the middle of last year. They have also been cultivated and cared for from pests by treating their soil, watering them with improvers and spraying them with pesticides to control insect pests, and it is expected in the coming days to start the first harvest season as an initial step in the stages and projects of agricultural development expected to expand and localize other larger projects in various Libyan regions.
