As part of the continuous field follow-up given by the Executive Management of the National Development Agency, and within the directives aimed at accelerating the pace of achievement in the reconstruction projects in Sirte, the Director of the Projects Department, along with the engineering team accompanying him, toured a number of vital projects under the direct supervision of Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa (patron of youth and development projects), and with the continuous support of the General Command.
The tour aimed to assess the readiness of a number of projects that have been completed and equipped in preparation for handover, most notably the Sirte Appeals Prosecution building, which is now ready for actual operation.
The tour also included the sites of other projects in their advanced stages, including the completion of the cultural complex, the maintenance and development of the Africa Hotel, the development of the new headquarters of the Trade and Development Bank, and the construction of the conference hall, which is one of the most prominent projects with an institutional character and a developmental dimension.
These visits are part of the comprehensive development vision adopted by the National Development Agency, which aims to transform Sirte into an integrated urban center that meets the aspirations of the next stage, in light of the urban boom witnessed in different parts of the country.
