Within the framework of the executive administration’s keenness to ensure the highest quality standards in the implementation of development projects, it has dispatched its specialized advisory committees abroad to calibrate and approve a number of materials for modern construction and finishing works.

The Engineering Committee and the Consulting Engineering Office, assigned by the Executive Directorate, are currently calibrating and approving samples of foundation and finishing materials, as part of the stadium development project that the agency has started implementing in the cities of Sirte, Ajdabiya, and Sebha, in addition to approving the materials for the Sirte Free Zone Port Hotel.

These tasks are currently being carried out in Turkey, where the consultant team is reviewing and evaluating the samples according to the latest technical standards, in line with DEWA’s vision to enhance the principle of partnership with foreign investors, and the policy of openness and cooperation in the implementation of major projects.

The executive management emphasizes that this step comes in the context of materializing the strategic vision it adopts in planning and implementation, ensuring adherence to the highest specifications and standards, taking into account the social and cultural character of local communities, and seeking to provide a modern urban environment that respects originality and keeps pace with development.
