LONDON – Dr. Mahmoud al-Farjani, The Executive Director of the National Development Agency in Libya, held a meeting with Lord Daniel Hannan, a member of the British House of Lords, at the House of Lords in London.

During the meeting, which came as part of the CEO’s visit to the UK to participate in the launch of Libya Vision 2030, they discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of economic development, attracting investments, developing infrastructure, and supporting free trade initiatives between the two countries.

The Executive Director emphasized the importance of the meeting, which was held in one of the most prestigious legislative institutions in the world, noting that Libya’s openness to international partnerships is a pivotal step to achieve the goals of sustainable national development. He also expressed his aspiration to build effective relations with experienced British institutions, which will contribute to supporting development projects in Libya.

For his part, Lord Daniel Hannan welcomed the visit of National Development Agency, expressing the UK’s interest in developing its relations with Libya, especially in light of the country’s new trends towards stability and economic openness. He also expressed readiness to support efforts to communicate with decision makers and British institutions concerned with economic and developmental affairs.

The meeting is one of the most prominent stops on the CEO’s official visit to London, which aims to promote Libya’s Vision 2030 and open horizons for international cooperation that serves the interests of the Libyan people.
