The maintenance and development of the Ben Sina Hospital’s functional housing complex, which is being carried out in three successive phases, is ongoing. The first phase included the removal of dilapidated buildings, while the second phase included the maintenance and development of five buildings and the neighborhood mosque, as well as the leveling of floors and the construction of sidewalks and roads. The third phase is the construction of a specialized hotel to receive large visitors to the hospital.

It is worth mentioning that this project was launched by the executive management ofNational Development Agency, within the package of reconstruction projects in Sirte, and aims to support the infrastructure of the health sector and create an integrated service and residential environment that meets the needs of hospital staff and visitors.
