On the occasion of the eleventh anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity, which falls on May 16, the Executive Administration organized this evening a handover ceremony for the passport buildings in the second residential area of Sirte, in the presence of a number of residents, locals, and representatives of the implementing companies.

These buildings, along with other residential facilities in the city, have undergone extensive maintenance work, including restoration and modernization, as well as leveling the surrounding gardens and creating playgrounds and swings for local children.

The city of Sirte is witnessing a remarkable developmental transformation as part of the national reconstruction project launched by the General Command during last year’s celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity. The projects included service, education, housing and health sectors, in addition to the development of roads, bridges, ports, airports and stadiums, in a move aimed at consolidating stability and supporting the country’s future.
