As part of the National Development Agency’s efforts to develop the agricultural sector, the Director of the Agricultural Projects Department in the Southern Region carried out a field visit to the “Al-Dabwat” project, accompanied by a number of engineers and administrators.

The visit aimed to assess the progress of work on the project, identify the most prominent challenges on the ground, and work to overcome obstacles that may hinder progress, in preparation for the launch of the next agricultural season. The visit also included the development of a practical plan to enhance productivity by expanding the targeted agricultural areas.

In addition, the visit assessed land suitable for cultivation and explored opportunities to exploit land suitable for planting trees and palm trees, thus contributing to sustainable agricultural development.
