This morning, the actual launch of the rescue and relief teams directed by the instructions of the General Command and the support of the National Development Agency began after the hardships of the teams in rescue, relief and opening access paths due to the floods that ravaged the city of Tarhuna, its neighboring towns and its extended valleys.
Three teams went separately, divided between the Mahmour area, the Sharshara area, and a third went to the Higher Institute for Comprehensive Professions.
Teams have made progress in cleaning and removing the mud masses accumulated inside the institute and many headquarters and vital locations, and have begun extensive maintenance work on the sewage and electricity networks in order to return life to normal as soon as possible.
