As part of the follow-up to the implementation of the Sabha International Stadium project, The Executive Director of the National Development Agencypaid a field visit to the Galatasaray Stadium in Istanbul at the invitation of SRJ Construction and Technologies Engineering Contracting Limited Company, which previously implemented the stadium and is currently in charge of its maintenance and development.

During the visit, Dr. Al-Farjani was briefed on the stadium’s technical facilities and listened to a presentation by the company’s engineering team on the stages of project implementation, and the quality and maintenance standards followed to ensure the stadium’s sustainable readiness in accordance with international standards approved by the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Confederation of African Football Associations (CAF).

This visit is particularly important, as SRJ is the same company that was contracted to implement the Sebha International Stadium project in Libya, reinforcing reassurance of its technical and engineering ability to implement the project according to the highest international standards, qualifying it as a modern sports facility capable of hosting future continental and international tournaments.

The move comes as part of efforts to ensure that the Sebha International Stadium is implemented at the highest levels of technical and engineering quality, contributing to the enhancement of sports infrastructure in southern Libya and constituting an important addition to the country’s sports development process.
