As part of the program of field visits conducted by the Director General of the National Development Agency in the middle of last week to the municipality of Sebha and neighboring areas, he and the Director of the Strategic Projects Department inspected the progress of preparatory work for the preparation and launch of the executive phase of the Shawsh Gharbal International Stadium project, which was directed by Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar – patron of youth and development projects – in memory of the deceased, who dedicated his life to serving the country and his city during his duties as Mayor of Sebha municipality.
During the visit, the Director General of the National Development Agency held a small meeting with those in charge of the project, part of which was attended by Major General Jamal Al Amami, Chairman of the Committee for Encroachments on State Property and Public Space, who confirmed the commitment of the National Development Agency to overcome all difficulties and provide implementation requirements in accordance with the highest technical standards, to ensure accelerating the pace of work and improving the quality of achievement.
He also emphasized that this project is a qualitative addition to the sports infrastructure in the region, and reflects the General Command’s interest in youth and supporting their sporting ambitions, believing in the importance of sports in developing society and consolidating the spirit of belonging and giving.
