On Thursday morning, July 21, 2025, the activities of the international symposium organized by the University of Sirte under the supervision of the Center for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the official sponsorship of the National Development Agency, under the title: “Renewable energies and their role in achieving sustainable development,” with the slogan: “A Promising Sustainable Future: “A Promising Sustainable Future”.

The seminar was attended by an elite group of Libyan and Arab experts, academics, researchers, thinkers, representatives of specialized scientific institutions, including the Libyan Center for Solar Energy Research and Studies, as well as a number of people interested in public affairs.

The seminar discussed ways to localize renewable energy solutions and activate their role in driving sustainable development, and concluded with a set of important scientific recommendations that would contribute to the formulation of ambitious national policies, based on specialized local expertise, and establish a promising developmental future.
