As part of the periodic follow-up of the strategic projects implemented by the National Development Agency (NDA), Engineer Kamal Suleiman, Director of the Strategic Projects Department at the NDA, accompanied by engineers of the technical department, made a field visit to the “Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous” bridge implementation project in the city of Sirte in the Zafaran area.

During the tour,the team was briefed on the progress of work on the project, which is one of the most prominent infrastructure projects in the city, where the implementing company has completed the piling works in full, and started conducting load tests to verify its ability to withstand the design loads in accordance with the approved engineering standards. The initial results of these tests have shown positive indicators confirming the quality of execution, paving the way for the next construction phases of the project.

The implementation of this project comes as part of the National Development Agency’s plan to develop infrastructure, enhance traffic, and connect neighborhoods and vital areas in Sirte.
