
Road service vehicles continue to arrive to support the project to pave and complete the southern international road, specifically in its difficult mountainous phase that extends deep into the Harouj Mountains, 90 kilometers from the Waddan-Jafra gate, all the way to the Waddan internal junction.
The work is being carried out on a timeline overseen byNational Development Agency’s executive management, in an effort to accelerate the pace of work on this vital project.
The Sirte-Jufra International Road is one of the strategic projects that are of great importance in the next phase of the economic development project in the Sirte Basin region, through which the General Command seeks to link the cities of the Libyan coast with the cities and countries of the desert neighborhood, thus supporting stability and stimulating commercial movement locally and internationally.
It is worth noting that the project, which is being implemented by specialized international companies, has made advanced strides in its executive work, as work continues 24 hours a day, reflecting the escalating pace under the direct supervision of the executive management, in accordance with the highest quality standards and international specifications, and within the specified time frame for its completion.
