
Doha – At the official invitation of major Qatari companies, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Farjani, The Executive Director of the National Development Agency, paid an official visit to the Qatari capital, Doha, at the head of a high-ranking delegation from the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), as part of enhancing investment cooperation and exchanging experiences within Libya’s 2030 vision for sustainable development.
During the visit, the executive director met with a number of representatives of major Qatari companies, where they reviewed the investment opportunities available in Libya and discussed ways of partnership and cooperation in vital sectors including agriculture, industry, health, and urban development.
The delegation also toured some of Qatar’s leading projects, including Baladna Factory, which specializes in the food industry, and The View Hospital, one of the most modern health institutions in the region, where the delegation learned about the successful experiences in managing and operating strategic projects.
The visit comes as part of National Development Agency ‘s efforts to strengthen economic relations with brotherly countries and attract quality investments to drive development in Libya, in line with the objectives of Libya’s Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy and achieve comprehensive and sustainable development.
