This evening, the people of Sirte celebrated the opening of the headquarters of the National Safety Authority’s Central Region Branch after the completion of comprehensive maintenance, development and equipping works, as part of a package of projects National Development Agency, under the patronage and directives of the General Command.

The project included the implementation of extensive infrastructure upgrades, as well as the establishment of integrated service facilities aimed at increasing the Authority’s efficiency in dealing with emergency situations and enhancing its ability to protect lives and property, in line with modern safety requirements and enhancing the city’s readiness to face various risks, such as fires, natural disasters and emergency conditions.

This inauguration is part of a series of developmental initiatives that contribute to the development of public service infrastructure in Sirte and improve the level of safety and security in a way that directly benefits the lives of citizens and their quality of life

At the end of the ceremony, the General Command, along with the sponsors of reconstruction and development projects, were honored with honorary shields in recognition of their efforts in supporting the process of development and construction. The Executive Director of the National Development Agency was also awarded a special shield in recognition of its active role in implementing vital projects that contribute to the renaissance of the city and enhance the level of public services.
