A field inspection of the runway at Sebha International Airport has begun to examine and assess the damage to the runway surface,
, particularly in the area between the concrete and asphalt pavement.
A team of German experts specialized in airport engineering, along with local engineers and technicians, participated in the inspection work, where initial observations were recorded about the condition of the ground in order to determine the best technical solutions to address the damage and ensure the readiness and operational safety of the airstrip.
The maintenance work will be carried out in multiple phases according to repair priorities and proposed solutions, adhering to approved technical and engineering standards to ensure the quality and efficiency of implementation.
