As part of the project to expand and implement the international road, the implementing companies have started implementing smart electronic gates at the entrances to Sirte (western, southern, and eastern), replacing the previous gates that were recently removed.

The move comes under the guidance of the Executive Management of the National Development Agency, and in accordance with modern requirements that include the establishment of integrated service areas at each entrance, in line with the standards of the entrances to cities and modern international roads.
