Harawa Municipality witnessed this evening the opening ceremony of a package of construction, maintenance and development projects for a number of educational and service facilities, which are part of the development achievements made by the efforts of the National Development Agency, with the support and direct guidance of Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, “the patron of youth and development projects”.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Director General of the National Development Agency (NDA), a number of department directors and the NDA Advisory Office, the Mayor of Harawah Municipality, members of the Municipal Council, and a number of local residents and social activists.
The ceremony included speeches expressing appreciation for the national efforts exerted in implementing development projects that embody the General Command’s vision to support stability and improve services. Shields of excellence and certificates of thanks and appreciation were distributed to the General Command and the National Authority in recognition of its active role in advancing the wheel of reconstruction.
The inaugurated projects included:
Civil Registry issuing office
Office of the National Safety Authority
Qara Afia Primary School
Intermediate Institute of Allied Professions
These achievements constitute a qualitative addition to the service and educational infrastructure in the municipality, and a new milestone of development promoted by the sincere national will.
