With direct follow-up from Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, construction work continues on the “Al-Moshir” mosque in Sebha on an area of 21,000 square meters as the largest mosque in southern Libya
Within the framework of caring for religious and developmental projects, construction work continues in Sebha city for the Mosheir Mosque, under his personal follow-up and at his own expense.
The mosque is built on a total area of 21,000 square meters, including 3,600 square meters dedicated to the prayer hall. It was designed according to a modern architectural style with a prominent 50-meter-high dome, with a capacity of about 4,500 worshippers.
Field work is also progressing at an advanced pace, with a large proportion of the grading and leveling operations completed, while the current days see the preparation of the building’s concrete ribbon bases. The pouring of the first portico’s bases was successfully carried out during nighttime hours to avoid high temperatures and ensure the highest quality.
The project is being implemented according to a strict timetable, under the direct engineering supervision of The Executive Management of the National Development Agency and a specialized international company, reflecting a full commitment to achieving the highest standards of construction and safety.
To be a religious, Islamic, and civilizational beacon for the precious South.
