Signing a contract to renovate and develop Al Mahari Hotel and guesthouses in Sirte as part of Libya’s Vision 2030
A contract was signed between the National Development Agency (NDA), represented by the Director General, and a major Turkish company specialized in hotel construction and development, to implement a comprehensive project to renovate and develop Al Mahari Hotel in Sirte and the guest palaces area next to the Sirte Free Zone Port.
The project aims to rehabilitate the hotel and guesthouses and transform it into a modern and advanced hospitality facility that meets international standards and the quality of work in the hotel sector, preparing it to be ready to attract an international hotel name or an international hotel chain to manage and operate it in the future.
Al Mahari Hotel consists of 55 hotel rooms, 4 administrative offices and a meeting room with a capacity of 50 people. The development work includes completely redesigning the interior spaces, renovating the exterior façade, carrying out landscaping works, modernizing the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and installing modern furniture and fixtures that reflect a modern hotel identity.
In addition to the presidential hospitality palaces area with 100 A palaces in addition to 54 B palaces and 80 C palaces to be a business area for entrepreneurship in the Sirte Free Zone.
This project is part of the Libya 2030 vision adopted by the National Development Agency, as part of its efforts to stimulate tourism development and enhance infrastructure and hotel services in the city of Sirte and the central regions of the country.
